Another blog from me to put up with! Mind you if you want the short version, the butler did it (….well it certainly wasn’t Keran).
Myself and the boys have just returned from another visit to see Keran, this time coming along was our sister in law, with the latest addition to the clan. Unfortunately my brother and the other two nephews weren’t feeling too good. I must confess to feeling sick every time I think of a certain miscarriage.
It was great as our latest nephew is a real charmer and to see Keran doing what she does best was great, if painful at times, as you only had to look at the visitors room around us to remember where we actually where. She wasn’t free to take him and play or feed him etc. It was quite an emotional visit.
The court of appeal are still researching the grounds and consulting with all they need to, so hopefully not too much longer. We have now crossed the 5 month mark believe it or not. So not long to go before she will have served half her sentence! But every day is a day we can’t give back to our boys.
Jamie has been suffering with a cold at the mo, which he is kindly sharing with me now, but better than any medicine he could have, would be to have a cuddle or two from his mum.
How our boys coped with illness and an enforced absence from their mum has really impressed family and friends of late. But no kids should have to go through this, there should be more visits for kids in these situations as otherwise you could be storing up problems for the future if your not careful.
But then I ain’t an expert and what would I know?!
Anyway after the visit the next day we took our visitors to Windsor, which I hadn’t been to for a while, but it was nicer for that to see the changes that have taken place. But how weird it was I was playing the tour guide with guests, as I was usually on shift and missed the daytrips.
So that’s one good thing that comes out of no longer being in the Police! Mind you its good not getting up at half four for early shifts too! Talking of the Police I have had numerous colleagues, that should be ex colleagues I guess, get in touch recently. It was nice to catch up and see that they are keen on fighting an injustice too. But more of that another day.
I watched the Olympic flame being touted round India earlier and the Police presence seemed a bit more restrained than some coppers in the UK who were throwing themselves at protesters like lemmings leaping from cliffs. Its amazing what a symbol like the flame can cause. But it gave me a wry smile as I haven’t long since written about the reactions of the Persecution, at Stars and later on the power of a Yellow ribbon. Some symbols of course are so powerful they can change a hell of a lot……lets hope the ribbons mark an end to the use of mercenary medics and unproven theories.
As I sit and type Question Time is on, and the politicians from all parties are so good at not answering questions at times I nearly forgot what the question was….nearly. But the question I would put to them all at the moment would they support the abuse of children by the state they represent as in our case and a secondary question is do they believe in innocent until proven guilty as that is dead.
There would be others of course about paying witnesses to say what you want them to say and many, many more. I actually went into the audience for Question Time some time ago to find out why the Government was making Police Officers into Support Officers and getting rid of an entire Police Force. But I think they weren’t worried about that on that particular day…..maybe that day will come soon.
So many wrongs so little time……..
Anyway, must dash, injustice to fight, mercenaries to take on, if anyone reading has had dealings with these ‘experts’ in family or criminal courts please let me know who you had lined up against you, as it seems to be the same old same olds. Also got to dash to do some digging to do, and we aren’t talking allotments……

p.s.
Can’t believe it the Question Time crew have just moved onto the Old Bill and one of them mentions its an important fact in this country we believe in innocent until proven guilty…must write to them to say its long gone…….
