I meant to say in the last blog how tickled i was to see we have yet another law. This time its an offence to take pictures of the Police or military.
There are a lot of tourists out there that have my ugly mug on photos they have taken, whilst on their hols. Now if I was still in the Police, I guess I should be getting International Arrest Warrants sorted to have them picked up. It would be good for the clear up rates.
Next time Ross Kemp goes back to Afghanistan will he be nicked?
Mind you another story says they may well have to nick themselves as there are schemes to put in CCTV in all pubs. The East Germans of old would be jealous.
More to the point if the Police want to do TV appeals to help solve crimes will they get anyone to take pictures of them? The good news the Old Bill didn’t want these laws, the bad news is it would appear the Government have no idea of whats required…but I wouldn’t bet the bank on it.
