Fictional Experts

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Hi,

As I sat and went through various e-mails, the TV was on to keep me company when the film ‘A Time to Die’ (or something like that) came on. Well my ears pricked up when the words ‘prosecution expert’ came up, represented by a very oily character (realistic these films are - go with a Yoda voice). But then Sandra Bullock rode into the court showing how the expert had said someone wasn’t insane, but then kept them locked up for 10 years in an institute they run, saying he was insane. Mind you in all his cases he found that way…sounds familiar…having your cake and eating it.

Now is it art that imitates life or the other way round? I forget.

But I am waiting for Sandra Bullock to turn up…

Not long to go now…….

P.S.

A time to sort out justice - could be the follow on movie.

Kerans Post

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Hi,

Keran apologises to all those she owes a letter to, but she is still some time behind, I think all your cards and letters at Christmas have left her with a backlog.

A huge thank you to all those that did write (including all FACT members and their families) and still do, whether you received a reply or not! They are great for her morale, although the Fire Officer is still twitchy about having so much paper in one room!

Shaken Babies?

Remember this? Found whilst looking for other info.

Have a look (although it can make you feel abit queasy - but no one seems to be injured) and tell me why there aren’t dozens of cases of Shaken Baby or Sudden Impact (onto a soft surface of course - that way you don’t have to have impact marks).

Maybe ’experts’ over there haven’t realised they could be making thousands by giving their ‘opinions’.
