Dispatched
Hi,
Well after several moans I came across the Channel 4 documentary tonight on dispatches, about the little Green Book (sounds like something Colonel Ghaddafi would have) that governs MP’s expenses. Funny how Mick from Gorbals doesn’t seem to want to answer questions, mind you he wasn’t too keen to answer Questions on things like Mr Greens recent visit from the Police either.
I would humbly suggest there is a national Fraud Team that covers all Government departments and MP’s in the future. That way the good work of the Fraud Teams in the City, MOD and NHS, would be standardised across the board. So much money gets wasted through frauds big and small.
Its nice to see the Home Secretary is considering allowing the Hillsborough files to be released early, distracting away from other issues maybe? Course not.
It was a sad day for so many families and indeed the Emergency Services. Thankfully things are changed across the world of football. But it is sadly funny that no one ever seems to be prosecuted for Manslaughter when they are in official capacities, I have said it before there are two rules in this country now, one for us and one for those in power. That’s not the way to do it. That attitude should be dispatched post haste.
Don’t see anyone getting dragged before a judge for offences for taking us to war, under equipped. Which brings me back to expenses and claims again, whilst in the forces and the police, I bought kit to make up deficiencies or make life a bit better. Guess how much I claimed for? The Patio heater, films, third home…none of the above. Its wrong you have to buy your own kit, especially some of it as basic stuff. But having to buy a third house, well that must be awful…
I do feel for those MP’s who haven’t been taking the p (p=profit of course). I did also read an article about the very talented lady singer from Britain’s got talent, she was described as being a bit odd, one reason given was she puts pennies and cash in an old Whiskey bottle….
Well call me odd to then! I know I get called worse by some…’whatever’, but putting pennies in a jar surely is good recycling of bottle and metal, and also a much better and safer banking system than some I could mention…
Maybe the chancellor will bail out my bottle bank?
I know i should be dispatched for that line….
p.s.
Dear Chancellor,
Could I have my £5,000 to scrap my car now please, we can get Mrs H back on the road then..lets just say we will start with a bumper car…and work up…
p.p.s
I see that there is talk to maybe stop the young kids who put on stunt shows on motorbikes, like the Imps, what a shame, maybe they can use bumper bikes. We must over protect everyone, then when they grow up they will tie themselves to bungees and through themselves off tall structures to make up for the lack of thrills in younger life. Must watch Panorama tomorrow as they are doing ‘May contain nuts’, we have gone nuts.
Apparently its the emission thing with the IMPS support vehicles…good grief, don’t they see through their own hot air? Lets hope so…
Balance - it’s all about sensible precautions, not overkill. I am off to bed now, after doing my paperwork of course into the associated risks.
Night, night.
