Babes both

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Hi,

I don’t know if you saw the case the other week of the 15 year old babysitter who apparently abused a little 2 year old girl in his care?

Yet ANOTHER tragic case, a little girl, her time unfairly cut short. Some commentators thought she didn’t have much of a chance as she was born to a mother who sadly had taken the drugs route.

But what concerns me yet again is that if the child was at the on risk register, then why aren’t people being prosecuted for negligence under Manslaughter rules, that little girl didn’t need to die. Tragically she has, so lets review the case shall we…no doubt a quick of no ones to blame, or they get a warning letter or ticking off.

I really don’t want to throw people into prison having seen what its like up close.

So let us learn from it finally, come next year we want a root and branch review of these cases as they just can’t get them right often enough and when they get them wrong, boy do they go horribly wrong!

The other factor to this is the babysitter was only 15, a babe himself, although like most 15 year olds probably things they know it all now. What is the story in there, why do what he did? Maybe we will find out at the end of July at the sentencing??

Let us pray that the little girl rests in peace and that this young 15 year old takes the time to reflect on what has happened ( i wasn’t there obviously so can’t say one way or the other, unlike expert witnesses and their crystal balls - thats where I want to put my foot down - and you can take that anyway you like).

Stay safe

Brain Of Britton & Britains Real Heroes

Hi,

Just sat and watched the show on the Rachel Nickell case and the series of cockups involved in it, some seem to say the expert/profiler led them towards nicking Colin Stagg, others say it was the Police and it goes round and around (the blame).

It took too long to right that wrong, but you have to worry as some don’t want to speak about it openly and others are now teaching at University - potentially creating future problems?!

Well we will see.

So much that just shouldn’t have happened these Blue Tinted glasses that people stick on, with added blinkers for good measure.

Anyway from that bunch onto some real hereos, today was armed services day, about time too! But it reminded me abit of the Trafalgar Day ceremonies a couple of years back, when most of it was held MID WEEK. Why have this ’DAY’ on a weekday??

Well no surprise there then.

They must be experts at screwing it up as they do it all the time.

Meanwhile Op Panthers Claw is on going and our troops are very much in harms way, as you go to bed, that nice warm bed, they will be sat in dust, with their mates around them, not knowing if the next bomb or bullet has their name on it.

Maybe the experts could go out there and spread their good out there. Nawh, not yet…I won’t let them go off this just yet as we have to have our fun yet!

Take care and sllep well, we have a new speaker in da house. Maybe he can do some good to…maybe…..

For whose benefit? Those that may need a smile!

I am not a fan of all the threatening ads out there, i saw one tonight for Fishing Licenses, you don’t pay they will pluck your eyebrows with a flamethrower or something like that. So I think this is kind of a right back at ya moment.

Money, Money, Moany

Hi,

Well the curse of cash seems to be alive and well, another member of Gordon’s cabinet been on the make. I really should have gone into Polictics who says cabinet doesn’t pay…

But even the Police are at it with their credit cards, very sad, how badly they let down the thousands of Officers trying to regain public confidence.

But Sir Fred from the Royal Bank of Scandal seems to have half a heart as he has given some of his cash back. Well, I wonder what the perks are that he will get now? I am sure there is something in it. Bit late again though.

So we have the Bankers, Politicians, The Police, and soon to add to that list Experts, their turn is coming.

The Freedom of Info act is great, there should be more scandal though about how the House tried to change the rules to suit them, a bit like the Scandal of their children NOT going on the new national database! Tut tut.

I heard Paddy Ashdown talking the other day about how some MP’s need to have more life experience before going into Politics. He has a point, and he certainly saw a bit of life (Marine, Youth Worker, Spy to name a few - very like myself, except the spy bit…I never got an Aston Martin, we had Vauxhall Chevettes in beige). Lets hope all this grief actually changes things in this country, we need to start afresh in this new millennium.

One final moan, I heard Professor Terence Stephenson/Stevenson, who appeared on Panorama (the one about Keran - as none of the experts involved in the case would) was saying that smoking should be banned in cars that carry children. Now he has a point and I am not a fan of smoking.

But what worries me is that this protection isn’t enough.

What are they doing letting their kids in a CAR!! They can be lethal!

Next we should ban parents etc smoking in a building including their own home. Followed by outside (as it sets a bad example).

Then we should ban people having a fry up in front of their children.

If anyone feeds their children a fry up, their children should be taken from them and they (the parents) should be sent to prison.

If they (those that call themselves PARENTS) feed their kids chocolate, then quite frankly they should be shot.

If they (the horrible nasty parents) put there kids in man-made fabrics, I reckon hanging ain’t good enough for them.

Of course if the Government and those at the top of the tree, do it to their kids, thats ok.

But these experts have a point, we mortals don’t know how to look after our kids (okay seriously some don’t - but we should all be punished JUST in case), we have only been on the planet thousands of years, we couldn’t have survived this long without their help.

They are running out of things to scare us with, maybe they will bring back the boogieperson.

The kids here are fine and glad to have their mum back of course, but they don’t like the fact we have wrapped them up in Cotton wool, but as we ran out of that, we wrapped them in quilts, gave them helmets to wear to protect themsleves, gloves, cricket padding, steel toe capped boots, goggles, respirators in case of bad air, waterproofing outer layer (breathable of course)…you can’t be too careful. We are getting Satellite Positioning systems sewn to them to. Just in case! But all this protection costs…so I am going to become an Expert Witness specialising in Financial Irregularities (there should be a lot of work out there for me).

Stay safe - don’t go out!
