Another day, another case kicked out.
Hi,
Been a while apologies, but she that must be obeyed is back and that list of jobs never gets shorter!
Finally got a mo to update on a couple of issues, yesterday Mike Burridge’s case finally got to the Royal Courts of Justice. They will now proceed to the next level at some time in November, just before we get back there.
But picked up on this case that follows, interesting in many ways as it was a shortfall, investigated by the same Police Force and the local CPS Office. Sadly a little boy died this time and it was his dad in the frame. It looks like the whole nightmare has caused their family to fall apart…I hope they can sleep at night. Maybe some of their ‘experts’ help with their insomnia? I know they made me nod off.
I will do a bit of digging to see if it was the same old same olds used and lets see what they said in that case. Just to make sure they are consistent! I am sure they are……..
Man cleared of killing young son |

A father who was charged with the manslaughter of his 11-month-old son who died three years ago has been told the prosecution has been dropped. John O’Toole, 29, of Milton Keynes, had been charged over the death of Cameron O’Toole in January 2006. He had been due to stand trial at Luton Crown Court last October, but the case was postponed for more expert evidence. Prosecutor Yvonne Coen QC told the court: “It has been decided not to proceed with this prosecution.” ‘Short distance fall’ She said it was initially thought the little boy may have been shaken, but Mr O’Toole said he had fallen from a sofa onto a carpet. An eminent US expert in biomechanics has recreated various scenarios and concluded blood vessels could have been ruptured in a “short distance fall”. Miss Coen said: “The Crown are satisfied that now there is no longer a realistic prospect of a conviction and cannot exclude the possibility that this was an accident.” Judge John Bevan QC said: “These cases are notoriously difficult. The prosecution cannot safely prove guilt.” He ordered a not guilty verdict to be recorded. Mr O’Toole, who was not present in court, had been informed earlier about the decision. |

It is so sad the loss of little Cameron, but also the breakdown of their relationship. You can understand it I guess, as we hear so often that those in power sound so convincing, but when you look into these more they sound more like a con to me.
If you are ever in this boat - Trust your instincts, they serve you well. The ‘others’ have other motives, less justice, more targets and the dreaded Noble Cause Corruption.
I will let you know how Kathy Hyatt went in the US to take steps to clear her name.
Until then stay safe
Iain
p.s.
If Ronnie Briggs paid a cheque over his mistaking ’overclaiming’ would he be in the clear to carry on in normal life?
P.P.S
Breaking news - Ronaldo moves to Hull City for £80! There seems to be some mistake though, with a story about him moving to Real Madrid for £80 Million. How ridiculous would that be! He wouldn’t be happy with that…that sort of money could buy the entire UK at the mo.
p.p.p.s
I have an idea for a new reality show, we take the dodgiest bankers, the worst MP’s and the ‘unexpert experts’ and drop them in to the Desert (Jungle has been done) and call it ‘I’am a git, keep me out here’? Ant & Dec don’t need to go though as we would just leave the buggars there. Any companies interested get in touch.
