Hi,

This following bit of fun was sent to me as just that, theres a lot of this out there on the web, an underground movement of people too scared to speak out for fear of being branded something?

Is it just that what they say is soooooo true that scares people, have we been led this way or just got lost and in the process lost the plot? Discuss!

Scenario: Johnny and Mark get into a fight after school.

1974 - Crowd gathers. Mark wins. Johnny and Mark shake hands and end up best mates.

2009 - Police are called; Armed Response Unit arrives and arrest Johnny and Mark. Mobiles with video of fight confiscated as evidence. They are charged with assault, ASBOs are taken out and both are suspended even though Johnny started it. Diversionary conferences and parent meetings conducted. Video shown on YouTube.

Scenario: Jeffrey won’t sit still in class, disrupts other students.

1974 - Jeffrey is sent to the principal’s office and given 6 of the best. Returns to class, sits still and does not disrupt class again.

2009 - Jeffrey is given huge doses of Ritalin. Counselled to death. Becomes a zombie. Tested for ADD. School gets extra funding because Jeffrey has a disability. Drops out of school.

Scenario: Billy breaks a window in his neighbour’s car and his Dad gives him the slipper.

1974 - Billy is more careful next time, grows up normal, goes to college, and becomes a successful businessman.

2009 - Billy’s dad is arrested for child abuse. Billy is removed to foster care and joins a gang. Psychologist tells Billy’s sister that she remembers being abused herself and their dad goes to prison. Billy’s mum has an affair with the psychologist. Psychologist gets a promotion.

Scenario: Johnny takes apart leftover firecrackers, puts them in a model plane and blows up an anthill.

1974 - Ants die.

2009 - MI5 and police are called and Johnny is charged with perpetrating acts of terrorism. Teams investigate parents, siblings are removed from the home, computers are confiscated, and Johnny’s dad goes on a terror watch list and is never allowed to fly again.

Scenario: Mark falls during break and scrapes his knee. His teacher, Mrs Smith, finds him crying, and gives him a hug to comfort him.

1974 - Johnny soon feels better and goes back to playing.

2009 - Mrs Smith is accused of being a sexual predator and loses her job. She faces three years in prison. Johnny undergoes five years of therapy. Becomes gay.

Well without wanting to cause offcence to anyone...espcoally the Ants (Adam Ant their spokesperson always quoted - don't tread on an ant, cos one day they may tread on you - I have seen a movie like that, so it must be true), but is there not some truth in that whole piece? But as always I am not an expert....

The loss of a PC whilst protecting others is always a tragic loss, obviously for his family and also the local community, but of course the country.

When the boys were younger they used to have toys called Rescue Heroes and one of them was actually called Bill Barker.

That’s what PC Bill Barker was a Rescue hero. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues.

I met a bunch of Cumbrian PC’s on a charity cycle ride when they popped into my Police Station, on the way to BBC TV Centre, a great bunch, I often fancied transferring to that beautiful part of the world.

Sadly though the beauty turned beast, and I hope all starts to return to normal soon for all those affected, especially with Christmas coming up. Nice to see the PM turn up so quick ( I don’t remember seeing him go to Hull when nearly a whole City went under…nothing to do with elections coming up).

Anyway this is about a real hero.

Central Texas Daycare Owner Acquitted Of Injury To A Child Charges

The owner of a Central Texas daycare has been acquitted of injury to a child charges stemming from an incident in April 2008 that left an infant seriously injured.

So the world is not so easily conned it would seem. So lets hope after all the cases stacking up with us, there is real, I mean REAL, meaningful efforts to sort this mess out.

There are other things that cause the supposed SBS injuries and its about time the old dinosaurs who won’t admit it, retire themselves to the tar pits. So many of these cases shouldn’t add up to experienced cops, they buy into these experts and possibly seem to supporting some…maybe this relationship is a bit too cosy chaps….
