Hi,

Just picked this up off Penny Mellors site…

I have been asked and accepted the invite to represent parents/children’s views as an advocate and will be actively involved in the decision making process regarding doctors who act as expert witnesses in child protection cases.

I would very much appreciate it if you would contact me if you would like to either submit written or oral evidence to the panel, which is being chaired by Lord Justice Thorpe, failing that anyone who would like me to raise their case in relation to the experts that appeared in court, please contact me via e-mail. Please bare in mind that the confidentiality that applies to the Family Court applies here too, it may well be I would need Justice Thorpe’s assistance to air some of the evidence in seeking permission to do so by the presiding judge, the same would apply to any parent wishing to give written or oral evidence.

I hope to be able to iron out some of the problems we have faced over the years and hope that I adequately represent those of you have placed your trust in me.

I just wanted to say God bless to PC Stan the Man, one of lifes true gents who recently past away all too suddenly.

I used to work with him in London and he was the sort of person who had time, a story a smile and a joke for everyone. Sadly I have lost a few ex colleagues of late. But they will no doubt be on their last beat, keeping the gates of heaven clear of those that might obstruct them.

A couple of them will also be frisking people in the line too knowing them.

Stan was much more a beat copper, of the old school variety and he stayed in touch with all the grief we have suffered. Thanks for that Stan. It showed the sort of person you are.

Evening,

Just back from the beautiful North West. So thought best do a little update to all my readers…the nice ones and the sneaky ones.

Just building up a quiver of new arrows to launch, if you want to read a few interesting bits and pieces look at the work Penny Mellor is up to at the Keran Henderson is Innocent website.

Looking at more than just Mr Risdon, we also have our eyes on other experts. It still baffles me that Stoodley can be slated in Ben Butlers case but the evidence he gave in Kerans trial stands, the court of appeal couldn’t look at that, the CPS didn’t use him in the appeal - I wonder why???

By the time Penny and ourselves finish there hopefully won’t be many experts left to stick heir heads above the parapets (are they airborne pets?).

Mr Southall is back at the GMC, he had nothing to do with our case, we never found any secret cameras he placed!

We will let our friends know as soon as we can when things start to change round again…
